Flowers With Powers: Letters of Peace & Intention
with Emily Heller of Bene Vivendo
Sunday, June 14 | 10 – 11:30am
$33 per person
Join us for a slow, intentional morning of creativity, ritual, and heartfelt connection as we gather near the Summer Solstice to create botanical letters infused with meaning, beauty, and intention.
Guided by Emily Heller of Bene Vivendo and Cathleen Mitchell of Kaya Holistic, this collaborative workshop weaves together seasonal ritual, flower energetics, handwritten correspondence, and mindful creativity.
We’ll begin with a gentle Summer Solstice / Litha-inspired meditation led by Cathleen, exploring the season’s energies—light, abundance, joy, openness, and renewal—while creating space to reflect, connect inward, and set personal intentions.
Participants will then explore a beautiful “Flower Buffet” filled with thoughtfully selected dried flowers and herbs, each carrying its own symbolic and energetic qualities. Emily will guide participants in working intuitively with the flowers as they create two handwritten note cards to send into the world as offerings of love, peace, gratitude, encouragement, healing, or connection.
Throughout the gathering, we’ll sip a golden solar tea blend inspired by Litha’s energies—crafted to evoke warmth, vitality, abundance, and the radiant fullness of the Summer Solstice.
Participants are welcome to write to anyone they wish—a loved one, a friend, a future version of themselves, or a pen pal through The Sunday Letter Project. Kaya Holistic is honored to serve as one of the project’s Letter Keeper shops, connecting our community to a worldwide network of handwritten correspondence.
The Sunday Letter Project was created to revive the art of letter writing and foster meaningful human connection in an increasingly digital world. Through a network of Letter Keeper locations, participants can safely send and receive letters without sharing their personal address. New letters regularly arrive from around the globe, carrying stories, reflections, hopes, questions, and words of encouragement from people seeking genuine connection.
For those who wish, we’ll have a selection of letters from the project available to browse during the workshop. You may choose to respond to an existing letter, begin a new correspondence, or simply write from the heart and trust your words will find their way to the person who needs them.
Included with registration:
✨ A curated flower and herb selection from the Flower Buffet
✨ Colored pens and pencils
✨ Two note cards and envelopes
✨ Seasonal Litha tea service
✨ Access to The Sunday Letter Project correspondence network
No experience is necessary—simply come as you are and enjoy a peaceful morning of beauty, creativity, intention, and connection.
Space is limited. Advance registration encouraged.
