Join us in celebration of Beltane with a hands-on, heart-centered creative workshop honoring beauty, abundance, and the blossoming of the season.
As we move into this vibrant midpoint between spring and summer, we’ll gather in community to craft our own flower crowns—symbols of vitality, self-expression, and connection to the natural world. This is an invitation to slow down, work with your hands, and adorn yourself in the spirit of the season.
Emily Heller of Bene Vivendo will guide us through the art of crown-making using dried flowers and natural elements. Her teaching style emphasizes an open mind and open heart, encouraging each participant to explore freely without pressure or perfection. There is no “right” way—only your way.
Using hand-weaving and tying techniques (no glue, needles, or sewing required), you’ll create a unique piece that reflects your own creativity and intention. Emily will offer gentle guidance throughout, allowing space for play, experimentation, and confidence-building. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to crafting, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are.
Kaya Holistic will open the gathering with a brief introduction to Beltane and the symbolism of flower crowns, setting the tone for a meaningful and inspired experience. Guests will also be served our seasonal Beltane tea as we settle into the creative process.
All materials will be provided, including a variety of grapevine crown bases, dried florals, and natural adornments. Kaya will also offer ribbon accents to weave into your crown, adding a touch of Beltane color and intention.
This workshop is open to individuals of all skill levels and is especially welcoming for mother-child pairs as we approach Mother’s Day. Children are welcome with a participating adult.
Come create something beautiful, connect with others, and celebrate the fullness of the season.
